Looking to serve those who cannot receive the holistic services they deserve.
Who We Are
Our mission is to strengthen local communities by ushering in a generation of healthy families regardless of their socioeconomic status.
We seek to provide high-quality, experienced, accessible perinatal care for families. We offer in-house breastfeeding support and also have a network of providers we partner with to offer holistic perinatal services to families. These services include but are not limited to lactation care, prenatal and infant chiropractic care, and midwifery care. We also seek to train more providers of color to help diversify and create a culture of equity within the birth work field. When a woman can be comfortable with her provider, we believe it will increase her birth outcomes.
Our Goals
Decrease infant mortality rates.
Decrease maternal mortality rates.
Increase the initiation of breastfeeding rates.
Increase the duration of breastfeeding to the World Health Organization’s recommendation of 2 years of age or more.
How We Serve
Holistic Lactation Support
It is our greatest desire to help you have an incredible breastfeeding experience and to help you with whatever obstacles you may face. We provide tangible solutions and answers for whatever question or issue may arise. Helping mothers and babies find their unique breastfeeding dance is one of our favorite things to do.
Economic Development & Training
We wholeheartedly believe that introducing trained Black & POC perinatal workers and educators back into their own communities is the most effective way to overcome the significant maternal and infant wellness disparities in Tulsa.
Personal Wellness
Let us help you discover and educate you on what true holistic wellness can look like! We utilize bodywork, fitness, nutrition, medical herbalism, homeopathy, supplementation, and even individualized coaching to empower the mothers and families we serve to be the best versions of themselves.
Given Women’s Health Oasis
This luxurious birth center was thoughtfully curated with mamas in mind. From our Princess Suite to our Family Suite, you will find intentional items to allow for the best possible birth experience. Our space has been designed with a calming water feature, a sensory garden and walking paths so you can feel grounded in nature while laboring with us.
We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to have been highlighted in the CDC’s Hear Her campaign where Sarah shares her experience with postpartum depression (PPD). Postpartum mental health issues are something many women battle in the quiet during their perinatal journey. Our goal is to bring this issue out of the darkness and supply mother’s with the resources to bring them help and solutions.
“I want women to understand that it's not easy and that we do not have to carry the responsibility.
You have to ask yourself the question, am I okay?" — Montika Collins
If you are facing postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, or any other difficulties after having your baby, please don’t keep it to yourself, we would love to help you and provide you with the resources to get you the help that you need.
